Jason Arnold is a candidate for Juris Doctor and a theatrical producer in New York City.
Jason most recently worked as a summer law clerk at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, where he will begin his legal career in the intellectual property group after graduation and admission to practice law next year. He has also clerked at Lincoln Center, Klaris Law, and SGIP. At Brooklyn Law School, he is the recipient of the Carswell Merit and Lark-Barranco scholarships, a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society, and the performing arts chair of the Entertainment & Sports Law Society.
In addition to his legal pursuits, Jason consults with theatrical producers and creatives to realize their projects. Prior to law school, he spent six years as an associate at Adventureland, a Tony and Emmy Award-winning production company, working on the musical Hamilton on Broadway, Disney+, and worldwide. Other highlights included Sweeney Todd starring Josh Groban, The Cher Show, and Derren Brown: Secret on Broadway; legacy properties Rent, Avenue Q, and In the Heights; new programming for HBO and NBC; and the launch of the new Drama Bookshop. He also participated in the Rising Star fellowship at the Broadway League and was a volunteer mentor for Rosie’s Theater Kids.
An Iowa native, Jason received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NYU Tisch, where he studied in the Department of Drama’s Production & Design Studio and the Film & TV Department, and was president of the largest student theatre organization. He also spent a decade as a graphic designer – first for corporate and startup clients at Wondersauce, a digital design agency, and later for clients of all shapes and industries through his own freelance practice.
